Flying with a Baby

Three reasons to get the Ergo Omni 360 Baby Carrier

I was given the opportunity to test out the Ergo Baby`s new baby carrier, The Ergo Omni 360. Pretty intense name right?

Well, I was able to put this bad boy to the test when traveling for the Holidays. And let me to you. This thing is freaking cool!So here are my thoughts on The Ergo Omni 360 Baby Carrier.

It’s comfortable

It has padding all over so it really didn’t feel like I had an extra 20 lbs attached to me.

It has an added back support pad, which a lot of other carriers do not have. So When walking through the LAX airport it didn`t feel like my shoulders were going to fall off. Seriously though, My husband fought me to wear the Ergo Carrier. He LOVED it!
Mr. Old-Man over here would make comments about how his back hurt after carrying our little one for an extended period of time. But after wearing the Ergo, his exact words were “Why don’t you just stick her in this all day! It doesn’t even feel like I’m holding her.”

It’s Versatile

The Ergo Omni 360 Baby Carrier has four (4) options for carries and fits both my husband and I. So believe me, after flying and walking all day, we took full advantage of all the different carry positions.

  1. backpack style
  2. Front- baby facing you
  3. Front -Baby facing out (Our little ones favorite)
  4. Hip Carry

It’s Convenient

I was able to walk from security to our terminal while breastfeeding my baby. AND NO ONE NOTICED! It was just a matter of adjusting the straps.

Then once we got to the terminal, I stuck a diaper and wipes in the pocket (along with my cell phone because let’s be real, leggings don’t have pockets). I was off to change a diaper hands-free and diaper bag free.

The Ergo Omni 360 Baby Carrier has been a serious game changer for us! The straps adjusting take a little getting used to, but otherwise, this carrier is awesome!

Do you have an Ergo or other baby carriers that you love? Let me know what you are concerned with most in a baby carrier, I’d love to hear from you!
